About the Author

Jeff started playing hockey at six years old, way back when there were only six NHL teams. After taking a 10-year break to get away from the violence and batshittedness that is rec / beer league hockey for men in their 20s, he returned to the game in the mid-90s. A few years of playing pickup-style hockey at various Toronto rinks eventuallly led to finding true hockey happiness with the Black Aces and the Cedarvale Oldtimers Hockey League.

Jeff lives in Scarborough Canada with his long-time partner and an ever-evolving collection of cats and bicycles. He shoots left, plays defence and still plays at least once a week, year-round.
